Tree kangaroo

The Matschie tree kangaroo is a creature it weighs up to 17 pounds and its height is up to 36 inches. This creature is found in the New Guinea rainforest. Not all of the tree kangaroos live in the New Guinea rainforest. Some live in Australia. This animal loves to climb in trees that is were it lives. The enemies of the tree kangaroo is the Dingos and the people who live there. They have hunted them for there meat. There are only 1,400 left in the wild. The diet of the Tree kangaroo consist on leaves,flowers,fruit,nut,bark,sap,bird eegs,and bird young. This animal can jump from 30 feet to a another branch and can jump up to 60 feet to the ground.

Lives up to 14 years in captivity. This animal has a very think fur coat. This animal lacks thumbs.
